This 3 story granite building is constructed of composite steel. Its unique angled shape is composed from a complicated grid of beams. Deep heavy beams are used to span over the column free lobby. The entrance is a 4 story glass atrium framed out of structural tubing. Numerous functional and loading conditions had to be considered in the design: lobby and offices, roof top terraces, high density storage, vault walls and roofs to name a few. Another unique feature is that a portion of the second and third floors span over a 6 lane drive-thru facility.
